A celestial Hierarchy of Light, flowing seamlessly from the Divine Realm to our material world.

Angels are the purest embodiment of this Light, a holy River that pours forth from the First Light,

bestowing upon us, the third Light.

Their purpose is clear, and their duty is constant: to remain endlessly connected to the Divine Reality,

receive the blessed Light and to pass it on to us, humans.

Our mission is to spread it further and guide you towards a higher state of being.

For God’s Glory and Angels’ rejoice

Incense. Aromatic herbs. Spices. Flowers.

Offerings to God.

The origins of perfume, if we think about it. They somehow got lost in time.

This is what pushed me into this mystical project.

Before we delve deeper into this journey, let me ask you a question:  Have you ever felt like there was something more, a world beyond the veil of everyday life? An unseen place where you can find strength, courage, and guidance from the very guardians of the heavens?

If you have, then keep reading, because what I am about to reveal will change the way you see perfume forever.

I believe that fragrances have the power to transcend the physical world and transport us to a higher plane of existence.

Inspired by the celestial hierarchy of Angels, our elixirs infuse the mystical qualities of these divine beings to uplift and transform your soul.

It is a wondrous structure, with nine levels of spiritual beings divided into three Orders, each with its unique characteristics.

The first order radiates the highest level of Divine Grace, entranced by Thrones, Seraphims, and Cherubims.

The second order of Dominions, Virtues, and Powers, channels the boundless power of the Divine.

The third order, a home for Principalities, Archangels and Guardian Angels, illuminate our earthly existence.

But their number is immeasurable and their influence extends beyond what we can comprehend. They are the guardians of our souls, the protectors of our minds and the guides of our hearts.

Crafted from the finest ethereal ingredients, these elixirs create an invisible veil of pure light, imbuing you with an aura of protection.

Let this vision fill you with a sense of wonder and gratitude, as you contemplate the connection between our world and the Divine.

I clearly remember the moment Ștefan reached out to me with the proposal to work on this project. He was drawn to some of the analog collages I had posted online – colorful fragments of deconstructed entities, pulled out of their universes and placed in other ambiguous contexts.

After we chatted over the phone for perhaps half an hour, mostly sharing views on what Caeleste should be about, a vivid memory popped into my head: I was an adolescent who wanted to become an Orthodox monk, so I left home and initially ended up in a monastery where they claimed to keep the chains in which St. George was imprisoned during the persecutions of Emperor Diocletian in the early 4th century. After a few months, I was moved to a secluded monastery close to the border between Eastern and Central Europe. I arrived there a week after some heavy rains had caused a nearby small river to overflow and flood the forest behind the settlement. There, one morning, I saw a herd of cattle, neck-deep in the water, moving slowly, almost floating between the tree trunks.

This image profoundly changed me; there was something serene yet surreal about that scene unfolding before my eyes. It almost felt as if everything was happening at the edge of tangible existence. Up until that point, I had wrestled with the idea of God because the certainty of belief unsettled me. But that morning, seeing the cows with their heads above the water, reaching with their tongues for the flowers and leaves floating on the surface, made me think that maybe there’s also a place in between, a region that precedes any certainties or imagination, where everything mundane and heavenly overlaps. For the first time, I could imagine myself surrendering to what’s hidden there.

I created the artwork for Caeleste with this almost forgotten memory in mind. If the perfumes represent to me the ways in which that intermediary place could have smelled, the visuals are my interpretations of how certain elements might have looked. From the Angels playfully hiding among the trees to the feathers floating in the air, witnessing their presence, from the Guardian Angel slowly descending and leaving traces of light in the sky to the Archangels, aligned to protect, caught between the material and the immaterial worlds. If anything, I’d like for those who smell or wear these perfumes to be transported to their own in-between islands of bliss and tranquility.”

The concept distinguishes between physical form and the deeper essence of thought.

It emphasizes the idea that the work and the thought is not confined to the tangible shapes of sacred geometry. Instead, it identifies with the substance of thought itself, transcending physical boundaries. It serves as a metaphor for an infinite network of intersections, symbolizing the interconnectedness of all things.

The geometric pattern is a manifestation of a deeper, spiritual reality.

They are visible imprints of the infinite interactions where the spirit leaves its mark. These shapes are symbols of the divine structure that governs all existence.”

“ A perfume talisman that surrounds, guide, protect and save our soul like a Guardian Angel.

Creamy coconut milk, cuddly vanilla, celestial musks and sandalwood notes give a fluffy texture reminiscent of clouds.

White blossoms sun rays pierce through the clouds.

Incense and myrrh uplift the spirit and foster a connection to the Divine. Tender powdery notes of tonka, hawthorn and heliotrope create a protective aura.

My creation embraces the sacredness of the color white and wraps you in a comforting hug.”

After studying different Archangels in the firmament, I concluded together with Stefan that we should focus on their great leaders: Michael and Gabriel.

The real challenge was to find the right balance between their contrasting attributes-purity/power.

Soothing lily and white flowers reflect Gabriel, this calm messenger, while a vibrant pink pepper extract makes the transition to his companion.

I decided to highlight Michael’s warmth flames and fiery conviction using noble burnt resins and myrrh to connect you to the Divine.

The result is a sacred composition around brightness and purity, flames and power, where Olibanum and a mystic floral bouquet mix together in harmony.

When Stefan approached me to create this fragrance, he told me the other two of the trilogy would be created by contemporary masters (and friends of mine), so there was a high standard to be expected.

That being said, he trusted me to bring something unique and rule-breaking for my part of this trilogy. Stefan, from my earliest days in this industry, appreciated my contrasting style and the way I compose each fragrance–with stories and emotion at the forefront & being wearable only in the background.

Unlike the other two, for Principalities there was no brief or guidance. Not even the title was known to me, with Project Quasar being our code name for this juice.

Stefan only told me he wished I could replicate the sensation of outer space, of otherworldliness, of the birth of creation or even, maybe, a touch of Divinity. He knew I work best with abstract themes, so that was all I needed.

I concocted a formula that goes against conventions, that has bounds of familiarity yet somehow no reference to our tangible world. I wanted it to feel like the first (or last) spaceship of humanity eroded in space & the infinite engulfed all our haptic references. I wanted this smell to feel like it annulled ALL senses at the same time.

I wanted it to be overwhelming, like witnessing God. Blinding, heavy yet caressing, sweet and all the way scary with His power.

A mix of flowers, spices, resins and spiritual woods–sandal and agar. A classic base of tried and tested Iso e Super and Hedione to bring familiarity blurred by unconventional overdoses of Pyrazines and Rose Oxide.

To create this never-smelled-before experience, to capture the Cosmic, I read all interviews available of astronauts and engineers working on Space Exploration. The common line found–Space has no smell, but you and the objects you interact with borrow one after visiting it.

A metallic, oddly pleasant minerality, dryness and a burnt almond-cookie. Fumes, overdone steak and sweet withered flowers. Gunpowder and red, chocolate-scented Cosmos Atrosanguineus (plant).

That was my compass & the infinite void was my map.

Documenting this fragrance took more than building it. At one point, I just knew I had it. I rushed to Stefan and he instantly agreed. We couldn’t believe it, but both of us & the people that got the chance to early-test it all agreed-this Angel was the right fit from its 1st version.

I can only hope that you, wearing this, will be able to immerse yourself just as easily and see the connection in all –

Perfume – Cosmos – Divinity – Nature – Personal – Universal ”
